October 1, 2020 — DocXellent will champion National Cybersecurity Awareness Month (NCSAM) - held annually in October - for a fourth year, joining a growing global effort to promote the awareness of online safety and privacy.
NCSAM is a collaborative effort among businesses, government agencies, colleges and universities, associations, nonprofit organizations and individuals committed to this year’s overarching theme: “Do Your Part. #BeCyberSmart.” The theme empowers individuals and organizations to own their role in protecting their part of cyberspace, with a particular emphasis on the key message for 2020: “If You Connect It, Protect It.” If everyone does their part – implementing stronger security practices, raising community awareness, educating vulnerable audiences or training employees – our interconnected world will be safer and more resilient for everyone.

Awareness training and programs such as the National Cybersecurity Awareness Month are key to getting individuals to understand their vital role in the company’s cybersecurity program, and to learn how they can prevent security issues by employing best practices every day.”
Now in its 17th year, NCSAM was created as a collaborative effort between government and industry to ensure every American has the resources they need to stay safer and more secure online.
